A La Crosse man who was sent to prison for possessing a large amount of guns, ammo, and explosives now faces a different weapons charge...
Fifty-seven-year-old Thomas Dworak has been jailed for allegedly possessing a switchblade knife, and for violating probation from previous cases. City police searched Dworak's house near Longfellow Middle School five years ago, and uncovered dozens of guns, thousands of rounds of ammunition, and explosive material. Dworak received a three-year prison term, and was put on probation afterwards, under orders not to own guns. He was convicted in 1992 of blowing up a sign in a parking lot outside a Trane Company building.
