State Representative Doyle Again Urges Special Session on Jobs
So far, there's been little movement on a plan to hold a special legislative session on jobs in Madison. More's the pity, says Onalaska state rep, Steve Doyle. Especially in light of depressing jobs estimates from the feds that say the state lost about 12 thousand jobs in June. Jobs action, says Doyle, can't wait for the regular legislative session to start
The fed numbers show Wisconsin leading the nation in jobs losses. But those federal estimates have been wrong in the past.

Fugitives Seem to be Heading South
Where a couple of fugitives from Black River Falls wind up is anybody's guess. But the latest reported sightings of James Misleveck and James Newman have them in the Hillsboro/Elroy area near the Juneau and Vernon county lines. The two men walked away from a minimum security facility in Black River Falls on Tuesday night. Since then, it's been a string of car thieving, kidnapping, gun stealing and, at this point, somehow eluding police. Police say the men should be considered armed and dangerous. They're driving a stolen black 1996 Chrysler Concord.
