Police Questioning Of Cain Moss Could Be Left Out Of Evidence At Murder Trial
Police procedures in the investigation of a La Crosse drug death are under fire.
The judge in the Cain Moss murder case is being asked not to allow evidence from some statements Moss made last year, when he was charged with the overdose death of Tony Du Charme. Police found Du Charme's body near Red Cloud Park, after speaking with suspects and witnesses. Police Lieutenant Matt Malott and Moss's defense attorney argued back and forth in court today about whether Moss seemed to be on drugs when he was questioned, and whether officers ignored his requests for a lawyer. No trial date has been set for Cain Moss. Judge Todd Bjerke says he will rule by the end of August on whether Moss's statements are admissible.

Neuman Gets South Carolina Support
As Wisconinites prepare for another election next week, outside eyes are watching like they did in the governor's recall election. This time it's South Carolina Senator, Jim DeMint. Now, he has his eyes on the hotly contested senate race....like he did when Ron Johnson ran 2 years ago.
And as he did for the Republican Johnson, who beat out Russ Feingold in 2010, DeMint has given his support to Republican, Mark Neuman.
