Erpenbach Not Happy With Walker Over Health Care
Twenty-six states, including Wisconsin, went to court to say individuals cannot be forced to have insurance, a product they may neither want nor need. And they argued that if that provision is unconstitutional, the entire law must go. Well the law stays for now according to the Surpreme Court, In Wisconins, Governor Scott Walker, has vowed not to implement it until after the November elections. The governor hopes the next president and Congress will repeal the law. Not good enough says Erpenbach.
Critics say the provision gives the government too much power over what they say should be a personal economic decision.

Koula Attorneys Will Appeal Double Murder Conviction
Eric Koula's defense team is preparing to appeal his murder conviction...
The defense attorneys are speaking publicly for the first time since Wednesday's verdict, when a jury found Koula guilty of killing his parents at their Barre Mills home in May of 2010. Attorney Keith Belzer says the motion to appeal will wait until after the sentencing in August. While the prosecution argued that Koula shot his parents to get money, the defense said Koula loved his mother and father, and was not in financial trouble. Belzer says Koula is 'devastated' by the verdict, and the attorneys still believe Koula is innocent.

Lax Sheriff Satisfied With Koula Guilty Verdict
Throughout the Eric Koula murder trial in La Crosse, the defense argued that unknown professional killers might have shot Eric's parents two years ago.
Defense witnesses talked about suspicious people watching the neighborhood where Dennis and Merna Koula lived. Now that Eric Koula has been convicted of murdering his parents, La Crosse County Sheriff Steve Helgeson believes that the neighborhood may be a little more at ease. The sheriff realizes that those neighbors were quite worried in the weeks following the double murder.
Eric Koula was arrested eight weeks after the shootings, and was convicted in court this week. Helgeson describes the investigation leading to the arrest as 'remarkably quick.'
