Winona Republican Senator, Jeremy Miller, has jumped on board to try to get a deal done with the people behind trying to build a new Minnesota Vikings stadium.
The Winona Republican introduced a bill this week that would create a $400 million partnership between the state and the White Earth Nation to construct a stadium and new casino.
Explosion Outside Kwik Trip Leaves One Man Badly Burned
A driver is in critical condition with third-degree burns, after his vehicle exploded outside the Kwik Trip on French Island last night.

A petition drive to keep the Bangor Post Office open has gathered more than 400 signatures from people who want the permanent post office building re-opened. The post office at Bangor was suddenly closed for repairs in January, and there's no indication from the landlord when things might be fixed. Many of its regular customers worry that a temporary closure might give the Postal Service an excuse to shut down the building completely.
Attempted Murder Suspect From BRF Nabbed In Tomah
Two people have been arrested in Tomah, in connection with an attempted murder in Black River Falls...
Daniel Triplett and Dreama Harvey were picked up in the parking lot of the Tomah Wal-Mart on Saturday, after Tomah police received a tip about Triplett. The Black River police believe that Triplett stabbed another person in that city. Police have not said what Harvey's connection might be.
