Graduate Minnesota Campaign In Full Swing
It's called the Graduate Minnesota campaign. The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system is pushing to get working adults who have earned some college credits to go back to school and complete their degrees. It features letters to more than 20 thousand people who recently attended a state college or university, but didn't earn a degree.

What To Do With The School

It would cost close to $9 million to fix up the La Crescent Elementary School. But a developer has shown an interest to buy the property for an upcoming shopping center. Superintendent, Ron Wilke, says there are others looking at the project besides the school district.

Alternate Side Parking Gloves Could Come Off Tonight
Don't expect any more warnings from the La Crosse police department. Alternate side parking rules went into effect on Tuesday morning in the city. Police records department says they stick pink warnings under windshield wipers for the first couple of days of seasonal alternate side parking. Those two days have elapsed and there were more pink warnings again this morning. So expect full-on, ticket-green if you're on the wrong side of the street tomorrow morning. Records says it's not clear how many warnings have been handed out this week but, "it's alot."
