Governor Talks Hunting In Video
Governor Scott Walker and Department of Natural Resources Secretary Cathy Stepp have posted a new video about how excited they are for next week's gun deer season.
The nine-day season is set to open on Saturday. Walker and Stepp have posted a short video on the DNR's website that features the two of them joking about how Stepp never stops talking about the first buck she killed last year.
Walker, dressed in a blaze orange vest and cap with a rifle slung on his back, says deer hunting is part of Wisconsin's heritage and is a key economic driver. He also thanked hunters who took new hunters out last year.

Facing 30 Years For Porn, La Farge Man To Be Re-sentenced For Car Theft
Unfinished business brings a Vernon County man back to a La Crosse County courtroom for sentencing on Thursday...
Michael Eales of La Farge will be sentenced for a car theft charge from 2009 that had been dropped as part of a diversion deal. The punishment for this charge may be short, compared to the 30-year prison term Eales recently received for making child pornography. The 23-year-old Eales was sentenced last month in federal court for having sexual contact with a one-year-old boy while producing child porn. Vernon County also is waiting to prosecute Eales on sexual assault charges, apparently connected to the pornography case.
