It was a frustrating day for those customers of Centurylink who had problems getting on the internet. Outages across the country effected one million customers in 21 states. Centurylink says the issues are finally resolved.

Customers, including those in Wisconsin and Minnesota, had their internet and phone systems interrupted for about nine hours. The outages started around 3:00 a.m. this morning and lasted until noon.

A statement from the company said the problem with an electronic routing system was to blame.
