Written by

TOMAH, Wis. -- A 17-year-old from Chicago was arrested in Tomah with over $6,000 in cash, along with meth and heroin.

Ronald Smith Jr. was pulled over around noon Wed. on Hwy. 21 for a vehicle equipment violation. What police then found was four grams of heroin and 46 grams on meth and all that cash.

Smith initially lied about his name and age but police eventually determined who he actually was. He'll be charged with drug possession, along with giving false information. He's jailed in Monroe County but has not appeared in court yet.
