Loggers and City Still at the Table, Ten Year Minimum Lease Extension Wanted

The La Crosse Loggers probably don't want to be paying for lights that they're not using.

One of the reasons the team's looking for another ten year lease--at least--at Copeland Park. They won't have lights purchased for the city park paid off until then.

Loggers general manager Chris Goodell says they want ten years plus.  He says the organization would love to be at Copeland much longer than that.  Lease negotiations between the city and the team have been going on for months. Another meeting tonight. The team's original lease at Copeland expires after next year's season.
