Sparta Woman Faces 16 Felony Counts
An office manager at the Sparta Veterinary Clinic has been busted for stealing drugs and forgery. 36-year-old Kathryn Watters was arrested last Friday and now faces 16 felony counts.
Watters is accused of ordering a drug combination of Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, which the vet clinic does not use, over the course of several months. Watters is also accused of forging $4,500 in business checks for about 5,800 pill of the pills to support a drug habit.
Watters was released from jail on a $5,000 signature bond and will be back in court again next week.
