Kapanke Cleared, Says Not Angry With Democrats

Months of suspicion. Possibly a failed congressional bid because of it. Now, republican state senator Dan Kapanke cleared by the state Government Accountability Board of ethics charges regarding payments to a loan for lights at Copeland Park where his La Crosse Loggers play. The claims of ethical misdeeds by the democratic party baseless, according to the GAB.   Kapanke says he's not angry over the allegations and how they possibly derailed his run for congress.   He's grateful that the end result of the investigation clears him of wrongdoing and clarifies the law for other legislators in similar business situations.
