The D-A's office plans to charge Herrmann with vehicular homicide, hit-and-run causing death and injury, and two counts of injury by drunk driving. Herrmann is accused of crashing his pickup truck into the rear of a car on Highway 35 near the Hog Wild Bar on Saturday. Five young women from Onalaska were in the car. Theresa Kroes (cruise) died in the crash, and the other four were injured. Herrmann also was hospitalized before being transferred to the county jail yesterday.
