Tuition Could Go Up At UW-L

Calling it reasonable and predictable, University of Wisconsin System President Kevin Reilly is recommending a 5.5 percent tuition increase for the state's 13 four-year universities for 2010-11. This is the fourth consecutive year that Reilly has recommended a 5.5 percent tuition hike. Something UW-L Chancellor Joe Gow does not want to do. Tuition at UW-Lacrosse would increase by $380 per year. The rates do not include mandatory fees or room and board, which vary by campus. The 18 members of the UW Board of Regents will vote on the measure Friday morning.
