Storms Roll Through Again

It was a very interesting way way to start the work week this morning as storms rolled through western Wisconsin. The National Weather Service said there was golf-ball-sized hail between Arcadia and Blair in Trempealeau County. A road washed out in Jackson County, where a flash flood broke out near Taylor following a four-inch downpour. The western half of Jackson County was impacted by the storm with downed trees and power lines. Crews continue to clear roadways. In addition, the National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for West Central Jackson County. Clark County reported 4 culvert washouts as a result of heavy rains.

Northern Monroe County saw 3-4 inches of rain pour down near Cataract, flooding some small creeks in the area. Monroe County Emergency Management told WIZM news that all the roads in the area were good to go.

An excessive heat warning continues for the area until Thursday night at 9.
