Ethanol Study Shows Wisconsinites on the Fence About Fuel
If you like ethanol, who are you? A new study by the University of Wisconsin has an answer for that question. The study uses a large poll to determine that support for ethanol in the state is highest among people who were younger, more educated, Democrats and those living in a county where an active biofuels plant was located. The study also finds Wisconsinites in general have mixed emotions about the fuel, with more than half having doubts about the economic benefits of using ethanol. And the majority suggesting their support is dependent on how much the fuel either decreases mileage or increases engine wear.
