Police: Drunken Driver in Stolen Car
Among the many, many drunk drivers arrested this week-end in la Crosse was the guy who didn't seem to know what car he was driving. Cops say they stopped 22 year-old National guard Reservist Bryan Brunken around bar time on Sunday after getting a complaint from someone who thought he seemed drunk. Police say they pulled Brunken over on Front Street. They say he was swerving dangerously and driving about 5 miles an hour. Apparently he'd broken the steering column to steal the little sedan out of a parking ramp but was pretty convinced it belonged to him. Cops say he blew a .235 on the breathalyzer.
