Viterbo Sets Rules for Concealed Carry

Add Viterbo University to the list of those organizations setting up protocols ahead of the state's concealed carry law going into effect.   Beginning November first, those with licenses in Wisconsin will be able to carry concealed weapons.  Viterbo in La Crosse has released its guidelines.  Effective immediately, weapons are banned from the campus--in buildings and on any Viterbo property.   In addition, Viterbo employees are prohibited from carrying weapons off campus if they're on university business.   The university will allow students and employees to have weapons in their cars on campus, but only if the car is locked and the weapon is locked in a place like the glove box or trunk.
