More Alcohol Policies Coming To College Campuses
Almost every college campus across the U.S. has had to deal with student drinking problems. Been like that for years. And with the recent crackdown going on at UW-Stout, where 7 students have died in the past 2 years...all alcohol related.....more and more policies are being put in place on some of those campuses. UW-L Chancellor Joe Gow says he's not blind to those situations.
At Stout.......a new policy puts in place measures to reduce underage drinking and overconsumption among students. They include more severe discipline that could include suspension, working more closely with Menomonie police to curb the availability of alcohol to underage students, and scheduling more Friday classes starting next school year.
