Evidence At Stratman Trial Includes Photo Of Bottle In Victim's Car

Law officers testifying at a La Crosse homicide trial are being asked today about a bottle of vodka found inside the car of a teenage driver who was killed.

Jurors were shown a photo of the bottle discovered in Brandon Jennings's car after his collision with Sheriff's Deputy Trisha Stratman on Highway 35. Tests showed that 16-year-old Brandon had no alcohol in his system at the time of the crash. Other testimony today has dealt with what speed Stratman was driving while on the way to a police call. Trooper Jeremy Ver Gowe answered an attorney's questions about where the two cars would have been at the time of the crash. Ver Gowe estimates that Stratman was moving up to 90 miles an hour at the moment she hit the Jennings car.
