2 Hurt In Monroe County Crash

2 people were injured in a car versus buggy crash in Monroe County last night. A car driven by 61 year old Monty Berger of Lone Rock was east bound on Highway 71 when he went to pass 2 Amish buggy’s that were also east bound on the shoulder of the road. Berger passed the first buggy when the second Buggy made a left turn in front of him and he hit the horse and buggy. The buggy over turned in the roadway.

Two passengers in the Buggy where injured....including the driver of the Buggy 21 year old Henry Miller of rural Kendall and his passenger 18 year old Sarah Borntreger of Canton Missouri. They both had non life threatening injuries.

They were transported by Kendall and Wilton ambulance services to Tomah Memorial Hospital.
