Central High School Wants New Commons Area

Central High School in Lacrosse wants to change the way the east side entrance looks and maybe asking for your help in making it happen. A presentation was shown to the school board Monday night, which would turn the commons area into a more desireable space for students, staff and visitors.

The $180 thousand project would include a new student store and a small branch of Altra Federal Credit Union. The financial breakdown would be $60 thousand spread into 3 entities. They include Central High School fund raising........Central Booster Club fund raising and the capitol improvement budget.

Also included would be community partnerships, community/family donations and wall tile sales. Fundraising will go until March with a tentative ground breaking set for the summer.
