Wisconsin Population Growing Slowly

Wisconsin's population is growing at a glacial rate. That's according to new census bureau numbers released today. The state gained just about 25 thousand people from April of 2010 through July of 2011. That's a rate of just .4%, which is about half the national rate of population growth of just under one percent. Wisconsin now has about 5.7 million people. Overall, the U.S. population increased by 2.8 million to 311.6 million.
