More On Fake Pot Bust

An Alma woman, busted this week for running a synthetic marijuana business that netted over a million dollars this year, will be back in court next week. Police says they had their eyes on 40 year old Tamara Schrock and 25 year old Blake Dennis, also of Alma, for the past 6 months. Both face charges of possessing synthetic marijuana and running a drug trafficking place.

Buffalo County deputy's raided a home in Alma on December 21st, after police in Winona were tipped off to a package for Dennis delivered to a UPS facility and it was later found to have synthetic marijuana. Officers said nobody was home when the raid began, and they found drugs that were packaged for sale plus a manufacturing operation hidden above the rafters in a garage.

An estimated 200 thousand dollars worth of synthetic pot was seized that day along with a car and a shotgun. Schrock returned home while the raid was taking place, and she implicated Dennis. Schrock is free on bond, while authorities have yet to find Dennis.
