Black Ice Cause of Monroe County 1 Person Crash

Black Ice seemed to be the cause of a one person crash in Monroe County Saturday night.
17 year old Cassandra Lozano of Norwalk, was westbound on State Highway 71
when she lost control on black ice and struck a guard rail. She suffered
non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Mayo Health Care Sparta
Campus.
The crash remains under investigation by the Monroe County
Sheriff’s Department.
