Head of DSPS Likes Direction New State Agency is Going

The head of a new Wisconsin state department sees areas of improvement in his own agency.   Dave Ross is the secretary of the newly formed department of Safety and Professional Services.  He recognizes that his agency can significantly improve on investigating professional license holders

Ross's agency was formed this summer when the state's Commerce department was dismantled.  His department recently dealt with the discipline of UW system doctors who handed out bogus sick notes for teachers attending protests in Madison.
