Crashes With No Seat Belts Big In December

The Minnesota State Department of Public Safety is reminding people about the importance of wearing your seat belt. Officials say eight of Minnesota's first ten traffic deaths of the year were not buckled up. They happened 6 different counties, with a wreck in Winona County, one of them. Reports from December indicate 23 people were killed in crashes and only five were wearing their seat belts. State law requires that all drivers and all passengers must buckle up.
