Missouri Man Charged After Stand Off

A man who kept several police agencies at bay in a 7 hour standoff Sunday in Tomah......has been officially charged. 22 year old Kenneth Roark faces 7 charges including second degree recklessly endangering safety, possession of a firearm while intoxicated and possession of THC and drug paraphernalia.

Roark, from Missouri, was allegedly drunk and armed early Sunday morning at the Super 8 Motel. He held police, even a swat team, at bay until they smoked him out of his room. Police had to clear out 15 rooms, mostly occupied by his co-workers at a near by sand mine, before launching the chemicals into the room.

Roark is free in a cash bond and returns back to court February 6th.
