Monroe County will spend $15 thousand to advertise on the two location possibilities for the new county justice center listed on the April 3rd referendum.

The motion passed this week on a 14-7 vote. The two proposed sites for the new facility would be where the current courthouse and jail sits in Sparta....or a county owned dog pound site on Highway 71. The information would include the price of building each facility as well as operational costs for each site.
