Take One Middle School Basketball Team. Add (Dry) Ice. Go To Court.

It may have been meant as a way to have fun with science...but some area middle school girls didn't think it was fun.

Seventh-graders on a girls' basketball team in the Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau district say their coach put dry ice on the legs of several team members, and the ice left burn marks on their skin. The coach, Brady Olson, is also a school science teacher, and was using the dry ice to entertain the basketball team back in January...according to a criminal complaint in Trempealeau County Court. Olson is being charged with felony child abuse for the dry-ice incident. The G-E-T superintendent says Olson has been disciplined, but won't say how.
