Reward Offered In Hougom Murder

WIZM news has learned a $10 thousand reward has been offered for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the murder of Sara Hougom. Police are awaiting evidence analysis from the state crime lab before linking Monday’s North Side drive by shooting to the death of the 20 year old, who was shot 20 minutes later in her South Side apartment. The reward is being offered by friends of Sara Hougom's parents, Mike and Sherry. Captain Jason Melby of the La Crosse Police Department told WIZM news that Hougom was shot by someone inside her 721 Division St. apartment, where she was found after calling 911 just before 4:30 Monday afternoon. There were no suspects in custody Thursday, though police have not indicated a specific threat to public safety. There is a donate button towards at the end of the page.
