Burning Bans in Effect

More dry days means a heightened fear of wildfires. The town of Farmington is the latest area to institute a complete burning ban. The ban includes burn barrels, leaves, and fire pits. The DNR says most of the state is under a high fire danger advisory because of dry ground cover and brisk spring winds. Those parts of the state have at least some burn restrictions in place. The town of Campbell also has a burning ban in place.
