La Crosse Above Average On H1N1 Shots

Ideally, they wanted EVERYBODY to get shots against the H-1-N-1 flu...

But almost 30 per cent of the county population is still pretty good.  La Crosse County health director Doug Mormann says the county immunization rate for swine flu was about 27 per cent, slightly higher than state and national averages. Mormann says a county of about 100-thousand people should have had one flu death from H-1-N-1 this season, but La Crosse County had none.
