Absentee Going Strong In Western Wisconsin

Over 90 thousand absentee ballots went out to voters this week......and a heavier rush is expected next week. At least that's we are hearing from local city clerk's. As of Thursday, over 1545 total ballots went out in La Crosse....415 of those were absentee voters who voted in the clerk's office. Onalaska is also experiencing a high turnout of absentee voters, 200 in office by Thursday and almost 1000 in all. And in Sparta, City Clerk Julie Larson said after a slow start in office voting, she, too, expects more to come in next week. They have had a total of 145 as of Thursday. The recall election is June 5th in Wisconsin.
