Wisconsin's Tax Ranking Improves

Want to pay lower taxes in Wisconsin? You already are. News from an annual report by the state's Department of Revenue this week shows taxes have dropped again in the state--at least, in comparison with other states. Wisconsin now ranks 15th in the nation in taxes per thousand dollars of income. 21st on a per capita basis which is the lowest since the state adopted a sales tax. According to the state, those rankings are the lowest in 50 years.
