Pathologist Testifies About Shots In Koula Murders

Autopsy results in the Eric Koula murder case are being heard by the jury today.

Information about the deaths of Dennis and Merna Koula could suggest how the shootings took place. Forensic pathologist Lindsay Thomas took part in the autopsies of the Koulas. She believes that Dennis Koula was shot from a distance...contrary to the defense theory that the shots were from handguns at close range.

Prosecutors think Eric Koula may have used a rifle from his parents' house to commit the murders. Thomas supports the police conclusion that the shootings occurred late on the afternoon of May 21st, 2010...three days before Eric said he found the bodies.
