Wisconsin Pension System Maybe Not All That

How healthy is Wisconsin's state pension system?  The healthiest.  A Pew study of all state pension systems finds that Wisconsin's is the only one that is fully funded.  Meaning that obligations for retirees are being fully met by the state.  Not quite, according to other studies, which find that the figures that Pew bases its evaluation on are supplied by the states and not always accurate.  Like with Wisconsin, which one group found was deeply in debt and only 60 percent funded, based on actual accounting principles that privately-managed pensions use.
