City Hall Hit With Garbage Questions

La Crosse city hall getting bombarded by calls about garbage collection.   The city's new garbage regulations are in place and many in the city are confused about what to do, apparently.   Postcards detailing some of the changes will go out next week.   Some of the queries right now are about garbage cans themselves.  Public works director Dale Hexom tells us, in general, if you buy a can with a lid, it's probably going to work under the new rules.  Also, although the rules limit size to 48 gallon cans, Hexom says a fifty gallon can will work, as long as its not too heavy.  To get rid of old cans, Hexom says, just put them out, marked as trash.
