WTC Seeks $80 Million Referendum

$80 million. That's the amount of a referendum Western Technical College hopes that voters will pass in November. Western President, Lee Rasch, says most of the approved monies would go towards the La Crosse campus.

In 1992, voters passed a referendum to generate funds for upgrading campuses in Independence, Mauston, Tomah, and Viroqua. As part of the 2020 strategic plan, more then 1000 additional students will attend the tech college by the year 2020.
