10th Freedom Honor Flight Recognizes Sparta Legion Post

It's a milestone for the Freedom Honor Flights in the La Crosse area...

The 10th flight from La Crossse to Washington for older veterans happens on Saturday, September 22nd.

This next flight is being named in honor of the Sparta Legion Post 100, which today contributed 20-thousand dollars to the local Honor Flight organization. Gail Raddatz (RAD-itz) of the Legion Auxiliary thought it was a good idea as soon as she heard about it.

As usual, about one hundred veterans from World War Two and the Korean War will take a day trip to see memorials in D-C. The periodic flights out of La Crosse began in 2008.
