Shilling And Other Democrats Take Back Senate Tuesday

When John Lehman reversed his 2010 election defeat in a recall race last month, he allowed Democrats to regain control of the Wisconsin Senate for the first time in 18 months.

Lehman officially returns to the Capitol Tuesday, and Republicans are promising to win back the Senate in November. But La Crosse Senator Jennifer Shilling argues that the switch in control, accomplished through recall elections, is what Wisconsin voters want.

Shilling would like to see a session called this summer or fall to deal with jobs. However, Governor Walker says he won't call a session unless both parties agree that one is needed.
