Fed Time For Sparta Burn Man

Burning down a convenience store in Sparta has bought a Sparta man some federal prison time. 38 year old Bradford White was sentenced to five years in prison by a federal judge in Madison.

He was arrested December 10th for starting the place on fire. Owner Ed Habhegger says he refused to sell to White because he was so intoxicated he could barely walk. White then returned, crashed his car into the front door and then doused the convenience store with alcohol and lighter fluid. White still faces felony charges in Monroe County, including arson, burglary and criminal damage to property.
