The state Government Accountability Board says the primary in 2 weeks will be the first time Wisconsin’s partisan primaries have been held in August since 1946. The usual September primary was moved to August 14th this year so the state can comply with a federal law aimed at giving military and overseas voters enough time to cast their absentee ballots. And you have to be careful who you vote for this year.
