High Speed Chase This Morning Sends Two to Hospital

Two guys sent to the hospital after a high speed chase in La Crosse early this morning.

Cops say 33 year-old Corey Johnson from La Crescent is the driver of a Ford Explorer that went out of control, hit several parked cars and flipped onto the roof near 11th and King at around 2:30 this morning. Johnson was apparently wanted on a few warrants so didn't stop for an officer during a routine traffic stop.  Led the cop on a chase for about a mile and a half, running several stop signs on the way and hitting speeds of around 80 miles an hour.  Police say a passenger was also injured but released from the hospital.  Johnson will spend the week-end in jail, facing numerous charges in court on Monday.
