La Crosse County is hoping a consultant can help them decide what the right move is when discussing what to do with the aging Lakeview Health Center in West Salem. County Administrator, Steve O'Malley, says there are quite a few things to be looked at here.

The county needs to decide whether to spend on improving infrastructure in the current center or build a facility that would be more cost efficient and better able to adapt to client needs. A new facility also would allow clients to remain at the current center during construction.
