Survey: WI Restaurants And Homes Happy To Have Cleaner Air

Many bars and restaurants fought against smoke-free dining laws for Wisconsin...

But a new statewide survey shows that people working at those businesses feel healthier now because of the two-year-old tobacco ban. La Crosse County health educator Judi Zabel says restaurant and bar staffers have said they're happy not to go home with smoky-smelling clothes.  The survey also shows that only one-third of Wisconsin residents are now exposed to smoke outside the home. The percentage was over 50 per cent when the law took effect.
