Wisconsin Guard Units Receive Deployment Notification

Local National Guard soldiers would be among those called up under a notification of possible deployment from Washington.  The 34 hundred members of Wisconsin's 32nd Infantry Red Brigade includes companies in Arcadia, Onalaska and Camp Douglas as well as 30 other units throughout the state.  The deployment would be for 12 months with nine months of that served overseas.  The National Guard says the total number of 32nd Brigade soldiers to be deployed is not yet known.  Additionally , the Guard says the notification doesn't mean a unit will definitely deploy.
