Whereas the alternate side exemption plan around UW La Crosse appears to be too complicated for students to follow, regular alternate side parking is pretty much the opposite, according to city public works director Dale Hexom.

Hexom and the police department have been pushing for the end of the alternate side parking experiment around UWL nearly since it began two winters ago.  Despite that, the city council could vote tonight to keep the exemption around for another winter.
