Onalaska Taking Care Of Graffiti
Onalaksa has a graffiti problem.
Police Sgt. Tim Berg says to help combat the artistic colors around town, they have teamed up with Hallman Lindsay Quality Paints. At the onset of the program, police intern Mitchell Hunsley went out and painted over pre-existing graffiti on city infrastructure. After the initial clean up, Hunsley began conducting weekly graffiti patrols. When new damage is discovered it is quickly painted over. The police department plans to continue the program through the use of future interns, the Onalaska Police Reserves and the support of Hallman Lindsay Quality Paints.
