Fest Medallion Found In Houska Park

The search for the Oktoberfest medallion in La Crosse seems to be getting shorter every year...

Last year, the hunt ended after only five days...and this year, a 20-year-old searcher from Chaseburg discovered the prize after just four clues. Emily Manske says hints about wood and the city's lumber industry led her to Houska Park on Thursday morning. It was her first time doing the medallion hunt. The medal was hidden under leaves at the footbridge in Houska.  Manske wins two tickets to the Festmaster's Ball and 500 dollars in cash.
